Meet Chris & Kenisa

In 1956 this facility operated as a miniature golf course. After Henry Davis purchased the golf course in the 1970’s he also purchased 25 acres for his son Steve. Steve and his wife Kathy built the go cart track and the golf driving range, they named it in Henry’s honor. Henry’s race place carries memories for thousands of Kentucky lake visitors and locals.

Steve passed away in 2007. His wife Kathy was unable to run the business due to health issues so she put the business up for sale. Tom Erwin and George Rexroad from metropolis, Illinois purchased the facility in 2007. They spent a lot of their time revitalizing and trying to preserve the history the park has had for so many years. The golf course was redesigned by a mini golf course designer from St. Louis. The course was a copy of Forrest Park mini golf course in St. Louis. In order to preserve the history the course remains the same today with only minor changes.

Tom and George had a big heart and such passion for KY shores and their customers. The passing of Tom Erwin laid heavy on the hearts community and of those who have been loyal visitors for many years.

The facility is now under new management and renovations as of January 2019. In toms honor, our goal is to provide families a safe and fun environment and to carry on the facility’s potential that Tom Erwin and George rexroad worked so hard to strive for. We want to thank them for being such positive members of our community for many years. We appreciate our customers loyalty and patronage. Your support helps us grow and provides the ability to design and grow the facility with you in mind.
