• Do I need to make a reservation?

  Reservations are recommended. It is a good rule of thumb to reserve by sending an email to tom@kyshoresfun.com or by calling 270-362-4774 or 270-210-6095 (especially for groups of 6 or more.) However, we accept walk in customers on a first come first serve basis.

• Are credit cards accepted?

  We accept Visa, Mastercard and Discover.

• What about Under Age Supervision?

  Anyone under the age of 18 must have a liability form signed by a parent or guardian before going on the tour but they can participate without the parent or guardian.

• Is there a Release of Liability?

  Yes. All participants must sign a release of liability.

• Are there any restrictions?

  • All participants must weigh between 55 lbs and 250 lbs.
  • Must be able to lift 15lbs
  • Must not have any heart conditions, conditions involving neck and back or any other medical concerns. Pregnant women are not advised to zip.
  • Guests must be prepared for light physical activity involving climbing stairs, climbing ladders, and short walks.
  • Kentucky Shores Ziplines is not obligated to complete a tour if participants are endangering the safety of themselves, others, or the environment. Refunds will not be given in these situations.

• What should I bring?

  • REQUIRED Closed toe shoes- no crocs of flip flops
  • Be aware that in Western Kentucky weather can change quickly so it is advised to dress in layers
  • Remove dangling jewelry, and rings before zipping
  • No storage is available at Kentucky Shores
  • Kentucky Shores is not responsible for lost or stolen items.

• What if I am scared of heights?

  Many people are afraid of heights they just don't always admit it and we understand that some people may be apprehensive about climbing to such heights. Our tour is designed to help you through the fear. We start with a training session that prepares you for the tour. You train with cables near the ground before going up to the course. Two of our ACCT trained guides will be with you the entire time. At no time will you ever be detached completely from a life cable. All equipment and life lines are inspected daily. At no point will you be forced to do something that you aren't comfortable with.

• Do you have a Cancellation Policy?

  Cancellations made within 72 hours of departure will be charged full tour price. Kentucky Shores reserves the right to cancel due to bad weather, foreseeable hazards,or events beyond our control. We will rebook your tour immediately or give you a 12 month voucher.

• What are the health requirements?

  Anyone with heart conditions, or high blood pressure should consult a physician. Zipping is not recommended for those who have a fear of heights, experience dizziness, seizures, or any other physical impairment.

• What is maximum group size?

  Currently we are prepared to handle 8 people in one group. If more are in your group please contact us so that arrangements can be made.

• I have family and friend that are coming but don't want to zip.

  Kentucky Shores Family Fun Center is located directly across the highway from the zipline canopy tour. Food, rides, and games are available. There is limited seating at the zipline course.

• When do I need to arrive?

  We ask that you arrive at Kentucky Shores Family Fun Center (across the highway from the ziplines) thirty minutes prior to the tour to ensure enough time to sign waivers, review equipment and understand details.

• How much should I tip the Sky Rangers?

  There is no set amount to tip and tipping is not required. However, any amount that you feel comfortable with would truly be appreciated by your guide.

• Are there discounts available?

  Yes. Any groups of 8 to 15 who pay with one payment will get a 10 percent discount. Groups larger than 15 should contact us for larger discounts. Also, monitor our facebook page for occasional large discounts and free zipping.

• Do I need to sign a waiver?

  Yes, all guests will need to sign a waiver and anyone under 18 will need a guardians signature. Please click here to download waiver. Please print the waiver and bring it with you.
